I was just wondering if there were any Rockets fans that live in south Teaxas.This is more of a Spurs oriented region of Texas and it kinda sucks being one of the few Rockets fans here. Also by the way is tonights game going to be shown in our region on FSN.
There's quite a few lurkers, but not very many active posters, esp in the GARM. As far as I know, FSN pretty much just shows spur games even though they show commercials for rox and the mavs as well. But at least you are guaranteed the Spurs vs Rox games. As well as the nationally televised games, they also get a few freebies on telemundo, at least they have for the past couple of years.
I used to live in mcallen........ my little brothers and parents live there...... they are huge rockets fans. I was born and raised in Houston though.... and i only went to mcallen for high school....... then I came back to Houston for college. So yea..... there are rockets fans down there
yup, I live in Mcallen, Tx. However, there r more spurs fans here in the valley, as we speak, I'm at work & I'm surrounded by alot of them! . Great win by the ROXS!!! Down wit the Spurts!
When I worked in McAllen, I use to head to Buffalo Wild Wings as they didn't show any games on cable, except for TNT...I know in Dallas, they pretty much show the Mavs, which totally sucks...Now thru Nov. 8th, NBA league pass is free so I was able to watch the game at home...I'm seriously considering getting it...
I have been a die hard Rockets fan since the 1979. I currently live in Edinburg,Tx. Born in and raised here in the Valley via Weslaco, Mercdes, Mcallen. You will not be able to view Rockets games on FSN here unless the Spurs are playing them or you get NBA League Pass, which I do every year. This part is Spurs country but I will never root for that team no matter what the scene is down here. ROCKETS all the way...
