I need to get DSL high speed internet at six different locaions. I currently have AT&T (SBC) at those locations and dont want to spend $50 per location for their stinkin service.

Anything besides Earthlink that I should look into?

DSLextreme. It's perfect for customers who used to subscribe to SBCyahoo, but can't qualify for their promotions. You can even have zero downtime between the switch.

I should have clarified earlier. I need this for a biz, the 12.99 is strictly residential.

I pay 14.99 for ATT (SBC) DSL here in Austin and it has worked perfectly so far.

They just sent me an online ad -- new customers 12.99 for regular 1.5 meg and 17.99 to upgrade to 3.0 meg. 'Elite' 6 meg was 24.99

The contract is for one year, but I talked with them after my year was up saying "i'm gone" if you raise my rates and they kept the price at 14.99.

I would jump all over that 12.99 offer -- it takes about 30 minutes to set everything up once they mail you the modem and everything --> easy
