I dont know about the titans...... I was a Oilers fan and a Cowboys fan until they moved..... I dont much like the Texans.
I grew up in the 60's as an Oiler fan. I can remember their <b>AFL</b> championships. I'm in North Carolina, so that the Oilers moved a lot closer was pleasant for me. They are not yet our preferred regional AFC team .... yet. We are still bogged down with Miami or Pittsburgh usually. I think I'll be rooting for the Titans but I will always have a great fondness for any NFL team in Houston.
I am a big fan of all Houston sports teams. The only non Houston teams I really like are the Carolina Hurricanes and NC State. I also root for the Steelers b/c of Bill Cowher.

Damn the Bud Adams and the Titans. I love the Texans, but I will never forgive Bud for moving the Oilers. Yes, I'm bitter, but I don't see how we could pour our heart & soul into supporting Oilers for 3 decades and then have it and all its memories transferred somewhere else so Bud could fatten his wallet. They stole our team and then changed its name but kept all the players and history. Then they went to the Super Bowl. They're not the Oilers, so screw Bud and the Titans. And while they may be hot, they will not win a Super Bowl before us! GO TEXANS!
I root against the Titans. Whoever the Titans play, Im for the other team. 1 yard short - now that was a great superbowl.
I grew up in Houston, huge Oilers fan, they moved to TN, and then a year later, I moved to TN for my job, but now I'm moving back to TX. I still cheer for the Titans, but the Texans are my team.
Geez, it's like you read my mind Timing.... I feel the exact same way. I loved the Oilers.... bled "Luv Ya" Blue.... and they broke my heart. God save the Texans and their saintly owner Bob McNair. And to you Mr. Adams... may God have mercy on your soul!
The Texans are my favorite team, but the Titans are my second favorite. I want the Texans to win the weekend against the Titans, but I will be rooting for the Titans in the playoffs.
The world's #1 Titans fan right here. I bled Columbia Blue and even went as far as writing several editorials for the Houston Chronicle about the bandwagon crappy Houston fans back in the 90s. I gots me some Titan fever baby.
im a titans fan...for me it doesnt get any better then we they sing when a man loves a women... once eddie george and steve mcnair move on i doubt i will root for the titans...i no longer live in h-town or texas so the texans wold be a hum hum favorite...seattle seahawks...not a chance... i guess my favorite football team will be the texas longhorns...
