    This weather has got me chomping at the bit. I'm playing today, but man I was dying all last week. Sometimes you have to let the little things like work get in the way of golf. Anyways, I was just curious as to how many of you guys were golfers and where do you play?

    I got a set of clubs from a friend this past year... I love going to the driving range, but I've never played an actual game in my life... let me tell you though, just going to the driving range is a lot of fun for me... non-golfers may not believe it, but man, it really is relaxing.

    hmmm... I think I need to get out on that range soon...

    I played Thursday for the first time in 4 years. It was ugly for me. Thank God it was a scramble format. One of our partners was the women's NC amateur champion. Needless to say, she carried us. We were the leaders in the clubhouse.

    I can still putt, but that's about it.

    I DO have the fever again, though. It was a beautiful Fall day.

    I play about once a month and am around a 7-10 handicap. I shot an 86 on Friday at Circle C here in Austin.

    I LOVE golf, it is very relaxing.

    1- handicap? I'm in total envy. I'm about a 8 to 10. But I've put in a lot of work this summer. Now that the fall is here and the weather is nicer I'm going to hit the range a lunch at least 2 or 3 times a week. My goal is to be in the mid to high 70's. I've done it a few times but I'm looking for consistency. You'd be suprised how much you make out on the course.....he he he.

    You local guys need to slate a CC.Open. Sounds like there are some very good golfers in the crowd.

    Sounds like a cool idea. So far though, I've only counted 2 here in Houston. If we can get a good amount of replies, I'm sure we can set something up.

    I'm sorry but I've never been able to get into golf. In fact if golfing didn't involve a ball...it would be called walking. ;)
