good idea for a thread. Even though neither you or I have any pictures to share or any stories, we can start a metanarrative about it. hmmm, maybe I should start a Media Day thread asking Clutch how it went. Do you think it's too early for that. Maybe I'll wait until the morning of.
Tryouts are going on right now as I speak. Won't end until 5, so updates should be rolling in by 6:30.

Can't be a RedRowdy this year. Gave up the red for Orange (see Hangout). THough I will sport the Red come Winter, Spring Break, and hopefully playoffs. Chill HP. I'm just as curious as DD to find out about this. Last year there were 30 tickets given away and about 60 people tried out, so you had over a 50/50 shot considering about half the original 30 were kicked out or quit and alternates took over. I'm expecting at least 250 people today, even with the holiday. Tryouts were so much fun last year. One of the best moments of my life winning those tickets and celebrating. You go through the season, and its ups and downs, with your fellow Rowdies. It's like a fraternity, in a sense.
I know Andy made it again. Luther Head was one of the judges ... he seemed to have a blast with it. There is an audio file on the front page of Luther speaking afterwards ... nothing too juicy, but he enjoyed judging the contest and is looking forward to camp starting. Jeff took a ton of pictures.
No - I just went to watch and cover the event ... it was a lot of fun. They have a good group of fans. They're also going to be sending the Rowdies to San Antonio via charter bus this year for a Rockets-Spurs game in November.

I made the red rowdies! They took 40 people today that made it. They will have another tryout to get 10 more people. It was a lot of fun.
UGH i was going to go that game but I cant anymore because of $ issues oh well i'll watch it from home but at least i'll be there for the portland game
I took something like 600 photos. I'll sort through them tonight and tomorrow and post them when I can.

that's so cool. hopefully they'll let us buy tickets into the group like krosfyah organized last year. That was one of the top 5 most fun regular season games i've been to...right up there with the Moochie Norris 3OT... HOUSTON!!! ROCKETS!!!
