I've been sporadic in reading the bbs. Anything new on Atkins? I recall somone posted that granato said ATkins would be a rocket before the end of this month. I'm not sure if I'd give up Bonzi for Atkins; but it's close.

at this time I wouldn't give up Bonzi for Atkins. Bonzi creates too many match up issues for our opposition. We need him.

What else could we give up for Atkins?

Do you seriously think the Grizz want Bonzi back? Won't happen. If we get Atkins it won't be for Bonzi.

How much is Chucky making? I think he could be had for Sura or the TE or perhaps a combination of both. Sura's expiring contract would be valuable to the rebuilding Grizz. They have to start somewhere.

As for Chucky, I'm still not sold on his ability to play both ends of the court. Or even his ability to play as well in a slow-tempo kind of offense. He's a good shooter to be sure, but it seems like his success have always come in free-wheeling offenses; the way they're running up and down jacking shots with no conscience now, and when he was with the freelancing Lakers during Rudy T's shortlived year.

Remember what happened after that? He freaking lost his job to Smush Parker of all people.

MY GOD PEOPLES IF YOU THINK RAFER ALSTON IS BAD PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT GET FOOLED BY CHUCKY ATKINS!!!!!!!

my roomates and I watch every grizzlies game possible to sit and watch and laugh at what bone headed play chucky will do next. For example last night against the grizzlies third quarter winding down and he dribbles the ball loses control of the ball with NO pressure on him out of bounds. later on when the grizz are making a push he tries to drive and trips over his own feet, falls down and it leads to a kings layup.

the guy is so bad its not even funny there is no way i can see him working in a van gundy system. the guy literally gives up defensively on every play as soon as his man does not have the ball. just stands there, watch a grizzlies game and see how involved he is when he doesnt have the ball. he stood so far off the 3pt line last night on offense when he didnt have the ball that he wasnt in the view of the camera.

the guy gets his numbers to the detriment of the team.

i would prefer tyronne lue or andre barret as a backup pg over chucky atkins

please watch the grizzlies for those who have league pass and see why no other teams are clamoring over him if he is supposedly on the block. why do you think the lakers shipped him out so quickly?

i pray everynight sura makes it back to play just for the playoffs so all this atkins talk is over with
