Swift for Richard Jefferson and Jeff McInnis?

Right now I don't see how we could do it. I think Swift is starting to come into his own.

Ummm....I think the Rockets would trade Swift for Jefferson in a heartbeat. Did you actually hear this somewhere or is it just something you made up?

Yeah it is just about to happen, but NJ wants to throw in Jason Kidd as well. That is where the hitch comes in. The Rockets don't want to take Kidd, because it might mean shipping Moochie Norris off to a third team to clear space.

So unless the Rockets can get out of being stuck with Jason Kidd the deal is on hold.

I know how some of us hate other sources like Hoopsworld, but they brought it up. I know, Bill is the guy that said Spree was going to be a Rocket too. Take it for what it is worth.

Marc Stein: (11:45 AM ET ) As disappointing as Swift has been in Houston, he's virtually the Rockets' only power player who isn't hurt. Houston wasn't willing to move him before Yao and Deke won't down and now even less so.

We should be OK, Latrell will just have to step up his scoring for us now that Yao is out.
