Any know why Chris Paul turned down the Clippers extension offer this past week?

    Was curious why CP3 turned down the Clippers contract extension offer this past week. I thought he wanted to stay. Is he looking around maybe for possible suitors next season? I heard a rumor he would love to play with DH12 and form another super squad down the road. Anyone have any information on CP3's future?

    The maximum salary you can get depends on how long you've been in the league.

    An extra year of service in the nba gets him more money.

    It'd be hilarious if Paul decides to leave the Clippers. Blake Griffin would be screwed for years to come.

    He already said he would not sign an extension and sign a multiyear contract next summer.

    I don't think so. Griffin has $95 million guaranteed and gets to live in LA with or without CP3. It's all good for him.

    He didnt sign the extension because he wanted to keep his option open, plus I think he probably get more money as a free agent..
