Dawgs up... Anyone go there? One of the most conservative and boring campuses in the city, but some great people and a new D1 football program starting up!

I noticed the new field they have in place but where are the stands? looks more like a really really nice practice field.

Division I Football at HBU?? I'll admit, I find that surprising. Good for them though

Welcome to the Southland. Saturday isn't going to be pretty, but we'll get ours the next week when we play A&M. :)

    08 Grad.

It is the practice field for now, but I am fairly certain when we start playing official Southland and FCS games in 2014, that will be our home field for the foreseeable future. There are currently no visitor stands and CVS is still there, but that is all supposed to change. The playing field is the kind of surface you would find on an indoor soccer field, the turf not like the hard "AstroTurf."

I have heard rumors that we are looking to build a stadium off campus, but we'll see about that, there were some large donations made to build Dunham field, so I think we'll be playing on campus for a while.

Our home games will be at Strake Jesuit and on 10-12 we play Abilene Christian at BBVA. What what, movin on up!

I've been waiting for HBU football since 04 and could not be more excited. We are going to be terrible, but I don't care.

First game is at Sam Houston this weekend. HBU Alumni will have a tent with pizza, sodas, and giveaways starting at 2 in Lot P2.

Nah, i actually got accepted into HBU and they gave me a nice scholarship. However, Even with that scholarship I'd be paying more at HBU than I have at UH.

I figure get a degree from a Tier One school at a cheaper price. Also, I'm already a Baptist, so I didn't wanna put myself in a bubble!
