Hey there, I remember when I was a kid I used to really enjoy the Basketball Almanac Marty Strasen used to put together. It had a scouting report on every player in the NBA, their backgrounds, strengths and weeknesses - kind of like ESPN.com's scouting reports in baseball (I believe from STATS). It also contained a list of his top 100 college players with the same scouting catagories.

I don't think the Almanac has been around since the late 90s and I'm wondering if you guys know of any other books/websites/periodicles with similar (and accurate) content.

ps - they can be funny for historical context too. I remember first reading about this really talented Frosh from Hartford who had a great game, but was much too skinny - Vin Baker
