Preferably action rpg, rpg, or first person shooter. but if it's a really good game i'll try it. RC Cola? anyone? Thanks.
Borderlands....comes out in like 4 days. COD Modern warfare2 comes out next month or so.... I bought world in conflict for $5 on d2d..... been playing some L4D....NBA 2k10.....and cod....
King's Bounty: The Legend - A Heroes of Might and Magic-esque game. More RPG than strategy (e.g., no city-building), although still has the same sort of battles. The Witcher - Not as good as I had hoped, but a pretty good RPG with some interesting gameplay elements. Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines - An older game, but if you haven't played this, you should. Is a bit buggy/unpolished though. FPS/RPG hybrid (somewhat like TES/Fallout 3, but more story based and a bit more linear). Might think of some more later. I have a ton of PC games I bought in the last few months, but I haven't had a chance to play them yet.
Deep strategy, time consuming --> Romance of the 3 Kingdoms VIII Umm, D&D Online is free now if that interests you. I tried it for a while, its okay.
The game is outdated man... I used to play that freshman year of HS... that was way back.... The game is pretty much dead now... WoW took over the online world (a stupid game like WoW... which will never be good as the CS series).
BTW, what sort of PC are we talking about? Something like Dragon Age Origins would be good, although I think the specs needed to run it are a bit high (partly why I'm waiting to get a new PC until I play it). The Witcher is somewhat demanding too.
It's still pretty good, I would love to make a clutchfans 1.6 team. I used to be good but I dont play it as much.
I'm not sure how good it is, but Risen on the PC is an RPG that's getting good-but-not-great reviews. It may require a lot of PC horsepower, though. It's basically the next edition of the Gothic series. I downloaded it, but haven't played it. I doubt I'd get into it much before Dragon Age comes out anyway.
I'm using a HP Pavilion G60-445dx laptop. while you guys may say oh laptops are crap and aren't for gaming, i tried canyourunit.com and it tested out pretty good. said it can run bioshock on recommended but it probably can't handle super games like crysis. it can run batman arkham, a bit better than that game's minimum requirements. dragon age hmm? i wonder if my laptop can handle that. i don't really care at all if i can run it on recommended settings, if i can play it smoothly on minimum graphics i don't mind. king's bounty looks interesting.
Seems to meet at least the minimum specs I think (especially if you use XP). No idea what that will mean in-game though. King's Bounty shouldn't be a problem though. It isn't really all that demanding, hardware-wise. It does have some nice art though, so visuals are still nice IMO. There isn't much to the story (just usual fantasy-type story with demons, elves, necromancers, etc.), but I really enjoyed the game. A sequel should be released pretty soon too.
no fps will live up to CS, no CS is not dead, people dont play it for the graphics, the best best best selling pc games arent played bcuz of their graphics, but because of the 'balance of gameplay', if you want to play counterstrike, go for it, its like 10 dollars... and it'll yield years of fun play diablo2, its over a decade old, but better than anything out right now, i would recommend WoW, but im not sure if you're into pay-to-play games if you're going to play pc games, play pc games, not games that are on multiple platforms
Oh yeah guys, I've already played CS. I was a hardcore CS player, playing all day and shiz. don't want to start playing that again. i need new games. Games I played all day and night: CS/Source Dota Starcraft Diablo 2 So don't suggest don't games pls
