I do believe that Little Nicky is out to rent now... I saw it last night. I had forgotten how funny that movie is. I definetely suggest it, even if you aren't an Adam Sandler fan. ------------------ President of the Anal Retentive School for Jerks Hey, I wanted to be president of something, and I swear everyone took every other presidential position already.
I heard "Gumo" was pretty wierd/good, although I hadn't seen it; I saw "Le Haine(sp?)Hate" the other day, a Frenchie kinda gangsta flick; "Salam Bombay" a super sad but very good indian flick; Guy Richies 1st movie "Lock,Stock and 2 smoking Barrells"...crazy!; of course anything from Akira Kurosawa is always fascinatin'. Good luck! ------------------ "Thats, Stirfry, NOT stayfry"

I watched the Tao of Steve this past weekend, and I enjoyed it. It was a nice, funny little movie. I also rented Wonder Boys, and I enjoyed it, as well. ------------------ Houston Sports Board
I have to admit that I rented "bring it on" on monday night. man was it stupid, but it was entertaining. dont expect much and you will get more than you expected. but I will at least admit to renting it ------------------ Hanta-Force Paintball www.hanta-force.com
That makes two of us. Kirsten Dunst was so hot. Did you know she's only 5'4" ? Whe looks taller then that... ------------------ "norm, would you like to buy an indian scalp ? This deal isn't gonna make or break me Norm, so don't jerk me around." Harry Carey "Norm, if I had a mohawk scalp, I wouldn't be sitting here talking to you."
Remember the Titans - awesome, feel good movie...from Disney of course. Circus - maybe I was too blitzed, but I didn't like it much. Hamlet - I only got 10 minutes into the movie. A very difficult movie to translate into the world of today, IMO. ------------------ Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things.
I've actually been very tempted to rent Bring It On, but I haven't done so yet. Any film with Kirsten Dunst in a cheerleader outfit is okay by me. ------------------ Houston Sports Board
well I didnt rent it for the blond chick. i rented it purely for ****s and giggles. I dont know which one Dunst is? but the chick from buffy(brunette) is much hotter than the blond in this movie. i rented the DVD. it has extra footage including an extended striptease and a car wash scene for you guys interested. ------------------ Hanta-Force Paintball www.hanta-force.com

I also rented The Tao of Steve this past weekend. Great flick! I rented Casino too, finally. Another good one although it has been out a while. ------------------ "...just because a clever person can complicate the discussion about the truth doesn't necessarily mean he or she is making any progress in finding it."

I remember wanting to see Remember the Titans with my then girlfriend, but she didn't want to see it. My best friend said it was rad though. [This message has been edited by Band Geek Mobster (edited April 19, 2001).]
And here I didn't particularly care one way or another about seeing Remember the Titans, but I had a date insist we see it, so we went. I enjoyed it, but I don't know that it's a film I want to see again or anything. BTW, I went out and bought the DVD for The Tao of Steve tonight. I liked it even a little more the second time around. ------------------ Houston Sports Board
Dude, Bring It On rocked. I believe I saw it twice the opening weekend. The first time for my job, the second time because I had to take friends to prove how funny it was. ------------------ www.swirve.com I think my w**** is dead.
Couple movies out that hvaen't been mentioned: Men of Honor - Good, not great, but if you're desperate for a war movie it works (well, no fighting, but it's the military). Almost Famous - Wasn't as good as I expected, but it was interesting, funny, and touching all at the same time, which most movies fail at doing. Still... it's one of those movies that is ALMOST great, and it just bugs you that it's not QUITE. ------------------ I would believe only in a God who could dance. - Friedrich Nietzsche Boston College - NCAA Hockey National Champions 2001
keeping the faith is good, directed by ed norton, starring himself and Ben Stiller. its about two guyts who grow up in NY, one becomes a priest, one becomes a rabbi...... (THere is no punch line, just a pretty good movie) ------------------ "Playing with Steve makes my job so much easier, "He's such a complete player. He has some great moves and shoots from the outside and in the post. We communicate well on the floor." - Hakeem Olajuwon "It's great to have that inside-outside balance," Francis said. "We've tried to get that all season, with Hakeem and me clicking at the same time.
Dude forget that no-brain piece of trash Bring it on!!!! Put your mind to work and enjoy it watching: Run Lola Run ------------------ "Chucky who?" Charles Barkley
