Ratemyprofessors.com has deemed two of my future professors to not be so good, but no recent reviews in the last 2-3 years. I'd like to get some feedback from anyone that's taken them in the past. Youn-Sha Chan for Differential Equations, and Ping Chen for Theory of Computation.
Taking differential equations with a foreign professor who has been rated poorly might not be the best idea. I'm not sure about that professor specifically, but it just sounds like it may very well be a bad experience waiting to happen.
