The company Clutch and I co-own, Two Roads Media, Inc., is looking for a CF developer to work on a contracted basis. No idea the length of time (I would assume it would be ongoing) and pay can be discussed. You could do this from anywhere assuming you have the software - no need to come into the office. And, you can do this as a second job. We don't necessarily need a full-timer as it is project-related work. But, it does need to be someone with experience with Cold Fusion MX and MS SQL. Drop me an email with your resume if you are interested. info@tworoadsmedia.com
I know a guy who is an expert and might be interested - but he's located in Calgary. Would that be too much for a hurdle?
I am, but I don't think I have time (unless the money is really really good). I can post the position to the Cold Fusion Users Group that I've helped operate for two years. email me
Not at all. Honestly, I have no concern for where the person is located. This work does not require him/her to be in an office in Houston.
OK... when do you want me to start learning ColdFusion? Seriously, though, I program asp and perl and some php. How hard would it be to learn this Cold Fusion stuff? And how much are you willing to pay someone who is willing to learn it - i am tired of asp... ??
Unfortunately, we need someone to start working on projects right now and don't have the time to wait for someone to learn. But, given the fact that Adobe just bought Macromedia and will likely make Flash and Cold Fusion the centerpieces of future software development, I'd say there is good reason to learn.
LoRdRePeNt is a ColdFusion genius... but then again he is busy running his own company in Raptor Technologies. I'm pretty well versed in ColdFusion, and can't wait for the first Adobe release of it. When Macromedia bought out Allaire we saw nothing but great things from the integration of ColdFusion & Flash, and I imagine that will only get better with CF, Flash and Photoshop.
Maybe you ought to contact Dr. B. Stanley Pons and his colleague, Dr. Martin Fleischmann. They say they are real good at cold fusion. (an obscure joke you are all to young to know about, but it will get you bumped up to the top again)
I work with a guy that swears cold fusion is really possible and that you can order cold fusion machines out of magazines. I thought about arguing with him about it but decided it wasn't worth it.
