For what? Marc has a low contract that is paying high dividends. We would have to trade a player with as much potential with as small of a contract. There is no way this deal could swing, not even on NBA Live 09. Free agency? Maybe. As of right now, he is untouchable, we have a better chance of getting Pau.
Threads like this should be locked. There is no chance the Rockets get Gasol this season. It would be the equivelant of Drayton McLane trading Lance Berkman when he was making the $500,000 rookie minimum.
I would never trade landry, the way he is playing right now, if i was morey i would keep for long time.
Unless we are offering Yao Ming, I don't see us getting Gasol. He is one of the best young centers in the league. He is not soft like his brother.
When will people stop thinking the Gasol trade was one-sided? Marc Gasol is damn good, and might be just as good as his brother in time.
marc gasol doesnt impress me a whole lot. hayes completely shut him down. he doesnt have many moves. i'd rather have Al Horford. dude is legit on both ends and he runs the court really well. i can only wish. i'd rather have him than yao.
I love Carl and everything he's overcome to get where he is, but Gasol Is a young 5 with game who is improving each time out.(with one helluva contract) I'm in the trade Yao camp and believe Gasol would be an excellent piece or us. Good centers are hard to come by and besides there is always the risk of reinjuring that knee with Carl. We'd have to add a stud w/ quality size and athleticism at the 4,but that wouldn't be a problem if Yao was dealt.
