any chance DMo can come back toward end of 2nd round.

    any chance DMo can come back toward end of 2nd round to boost the bench? I thought I saw something about 3-4 weeks. I could be wrong.

    Man do we miss DMo's position defense at PF - I would love for him to get some PT in the playoffs, but there is no need to rush him back, Josh, Tjones, Howard and Capela are fine everywhere but the FT line.

    what a difference they would make in winning the next series. i believe with both of them we would make the WCF.

    but neither are coming back anytime soon. gotta move on without them.

    I haven't seen anything about Dmo's schedule to return, but I found an article that described the surgery as "minimally invasive" lumbar microdiscectomy, which removes a portion of the herniated disc to relieve pressure on the spine. Dwight Howard was quoted as saying his back surgery was for the same thing and he was a lot worse than Dmo. Also, it should be noted that muscle, bone, etc are all left intact. I found this other random source about recovery.... It basically says 3 to 9 month recover time for elite athletes. If this was a case that wasn't very bad, lets hope for the 3 month schedule.

    I think we would have played better with Bev and Dmo in this series, but I think the real impact of their loss will not be felt until the next round.

    Even if he was somehow medically cleared (which there is no way), there isn't a chance he'd be good enough to be effective. He'd be super rusty.

    We definitely miss his inside scoring ability and occasional three.. in order to make up his absence Jones has to be a bit more consistent and Smith has to stop going full r****d on some plays.
