tonight? they get the 76ers at home. but i heard that the Cleveland starters wont' be playing...76ers still have a chance at a 6 seed. Cleve gets home court throughout... but then there is a record they can tie.... help
I took Cleveland +1.5 i just don't see them losing at home. with the record on the line. and the fans will be there.
With LeBron, Mo Williams, Big Z, Joe Smith and Ben Wallace not playing, the Sixers will definitely win if they want to. The Cavs don't give a care about the home record, which is proven by them sitting out those players. This game will be completely different from Jazz/Lakers. The question should be: Any chance the Sixers lose?
"Expected not to play" is what i saw.... They lost to boston last night at home. and allen and kg were not playing... so who knows. i think their coach does care about the record, and the fans...
Philly is winning.. The Celts had Pierce going. The Cavs have Delonte West...Wally World.. Daniel Gibson..Varejao..JJ Hickson? i.e. unless Wally pulls off a Miami(OH) rejuvenated performance, no one can create a shot, and that team will really struggle to put points on the board.
Not only that, how much you want to bet Delonte West only plays ~20 minutes. Tarence Kinsey better bring his "A" game, LOL! Pavlovic will get a chunk of minutes too. It's a good thing ESPN chose Rockets/Mavs instead of this game. This is one night ESPN got both games right. I'm gonna peek over and watch Hornets/Spurs too if it stays close.
Screw cleveland and the refs home record after how the Refs took Yao out the game with those stupid touch fouls that home record should have an asterisk
well that's some BS.. Andre Miller misses 2 FT's with 4 secs to go.. Philly only wins by 1.. 1 of those would have pushed, 2 would have won on the plus side, I evened out cause the halftime line was Philly -4.5
so i want the rockets to win and get homecourt, we blow a 14 point lead. i want the spurs to lose, and they come from 5 down with 40 seconds left and hit a 3 at the buzzer to force overtime and win. and i really want cleveland to tie the all-time 40-1 record so they don't play any starters and then still manage to get a big halftime lead and blow it and lose in OT. great sports night. how many buzzer beaters have the spurs made this year? mason has about 3, finley just hit the one that should have counted against the kings (the spurs making a shot after the buzzer in a late season game to cost the rockets home court against a very good home court opponent? is this 1993?), and now, having to score a 3 or lose the division, they somehow get finley an open 3 and he of course makes it at the buzzer. if the rockets and spurs played the 4th quarter and last 6 minutes equally, we'd probably have 5 more wins than they do. but they execute and then get fortunate with a ton of buzzer beaters.
