i doubt it. unless the regular season games are on national television, i don't see any bars showing any rockets games via league pass. most bars should have the playoffs since they should be on national television.

Bars that have NBA league pass will generally put the game on for you on at least 1 tv if they are well set up and there is not a huge local game on that everybody else is watching. Any number of places in the 20's, along third ave, will have it, as do places on the UES and UWS.

Espn Zone has it but it can get a little crowded. Scruffy Duffy I think has it too and its in times square also. Ship of Fools is on the upper east side and they have it there as well. Its located between 82nd and 83rd street on 2nd Ave. Ive been to Espn and Ship of Fools and they were both decent. Ship of Fools is much more low key though.

Stonewall in the West Village is THE place to hang out and watch your Houston Rockets. We have a large group for every game. It's kind of the "unofficial" hang out for all the expatriated Rocket fans in this area. Come out sometime and join us. Tell the bartender you are looking for "the guys" and he will point you in the right direction.

If you can find a bar like the last poster talked about with Rockets fans that would be great. If your looking for a nice alternative to the espn zone in times square try Tonic. They have very hot bartenders.

I recommend Blondies too. That's where I used to go when I lived in Manhattan a couple of years ago. They have league pass and will turn the game on for you.

    Update:

"The guys" don't go to Stonewall anymore after they found out that it's actually a gay bar.

    Oops.

I wasn't going to tell you, but that would have been so wrong of me...

Ship of Fools is great. Even if it's not playing, they'll turn it on for you. Just ask for Glen.

I was in NYC for gm 7 against Dallas. What a nightmare. Was at a cool little Irish pub... think the name was McConnels, but actually I am not sure. I know it started with a M. It was a block or two south of ESPN ZONE which is located at 1472 Broadway. I went there first but I did not get there early enough to get a good seat.

Damn that night started out great. :(
