Ive been dieting since January and seem to have almost gotten back to where I want to be. I've lost about 30 pounds (Damn you Christmas and your delicious assorted candies) and I'm about 194, but I've hit a snag. My weight keeps fluctuating from 190 to 195. I seem not to lose anymore on just cutting portions down and exercising. I'm getting toned but I'm not trying to muscled, just have a normal look. I've actually just started eating nothing but tuna fish and just wondering if that has ever worked for anybody? I'm thinking on sticking with tuna and egg whites, but wanted to know if anybody else has tried it?

I feel sorry for the people who have to live and work next to you. Make sure to mix in some cauliflower or something.

your digestive system will be pretty hardcore on just tuna and eggs and your farts will be brutal.

there is much higher quality protein out there. Mix in some beans, other fish (tuna is the highest in mercury) chicken breasts (can be found cheap, like 2 per pound) sirloin steak (3 per pound) milk.

I have never really had any problems with tuna or eggs. My only weakness is milk. And not wanting to destroy my digestive system is why I'm staying away from the cabbage diet, which have heard works really good but will make you want to stay away from people.

Good lord you lost 30lb's in a month and switched to an all-tuna diet?!? That's all sorts of unhealthy.

Healthy weight loss is 1 maybe 2lb's a week, not 7-8lb.

Not to be a negative nancy but there's a good possibly that weight's gonna come right on back once you stop dieting.

Because I can never stay on a long term diet. It's more of if a physiological thing in where if I know it works, I will stick too it. Sounds weird but it helped me lose most of the weight.

Well I never really dieted in the traditional sense. I just cut fast-food, sodas, and cutting portions of what I eat. I still eat whatever else but exercise regularly.

You should change your expectations a bit. Those 30 pounds were the easiest to lose. 2-4 pounds a week now is gonna be your ceiling.

Go with all protein and veggies like carrots, cauliflower, broccoli etc.

vary your protein with the sources above and start strength training.

Well I guess that's better than a crash diet but still that kind of extensive weight loss in such a small period probably ain't that healthy.

Yeah I got diagnosed with a digestive system disorder and has led me to drastically change what I eat.
