He's stooped to a new low, dragging his fat *** to a D-League team stacked full of young projects and no-names. He's clearly desperate... I'm surprised he didn't try to play overseas. This man made over $100 million during his career, and now he's flat broke. How stupid is this guy?
Pro-athletes are perfect prey for casinos. Lots of cash, young, competitive guys into flashing their money around. Problem is that they think that they can compete against the house in games that are set up for the house to win which are made worse when emotion-driven people like Toine, Barkley, Jordan, etc. play them. I know it's hard to feel sorry for someone like Walker who was given a bunch of money, but the guy clearly was ignorant, impressionable, and had a vice that took him over. The sad thing is that pro-athletes' prime income-generating time ends when most people's are just beginning...
He did. What's really scary here? The D League has a hard max salary that's barely minimum wage. You'd think he'd make more money giving private lessons to rich suburban kids.
It can happen to anybody dude give me 3 million dollers on a rookie contract at age of 18 see if I don't go crazy .... I'll buy houses for a couple of my family members!....... Which by the looks of it he did just that. spent it on moochers... Family& friends
