Golden State has a REALLY good YOUNG team if you look at there lineup. There going to be good in the future if they get the right system.
Warriors picked him up at the beginning of last season, and he dropped 37 on 15-20 shooting and snagged 11 boards in his first NBA start. Kid's a baller.
He doesn't look as explosive or as fast as Von Wafer, but his shot is just ridiculous. Simple quick release, great range, led the league in 3p% at 46.7%. I don't think his handles is great, but he can beat his man with fakes or 1or2 dribbles to make a bit of space which is all he needs.
Thanks,I get the impression that he can get to the rim and finish occasionally too, in addition to shooting the ball. Is that right? What's his defense like?
The warriors are dumb for drafting Curry, when they already have a guy like him(Morrow) that already proven that he can score, shoot the three, and play weak D. They should of picked Jordan Hill
Sorry for the double post, but can one of you make a thread about the guys in the summer leauge. So far Tabeet looks like the Candi Man V. 2
saleem: His defence actually isn't too bad. He isn't quick, but he tries on defence and fights for rebounds. Doubt he'll ever be an elite defender, but he can be a league average caliber type defender. I haven't seen him do much penetrating to the rim, when he finishes around there, it's usually off a dish off that someone else created. I don't think he'll ever be a no.1 option, but he's already a lights out shooter, and he has the tools to be average enough in other areas to not be a liability.

Yep. His demeanor says to me: I am soooo happy to be in the NBA. He thinks he's made it. I don't see much focus, determination & fire in him that says he will work as hard as necessary to be all he can be. Hope I'm wrong because Thabeet seems like a really good guy and he has quite a unique life story.
I think it's pretty frustrating to be a Warriors fan. So much talent put into a system that emphasizes aesthetics over actually winning. What's the point of all these talented, versatile wing players if they aren't expected to play defense or every possession?
