"I was matched up on Mobley a couple of times. The guy almost shook me out of my shoes." San Francisco Chronicle ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
I liked this part too... Mobley torched Sura for the majority of his 28 first-half points with a dazzling assortment of fakes, drives and pull-up jumpers. Demonstrating the quickness that earned him the nickname "Cat," Mobley got to the basket with ease in accounting for more than half of his team's output. Making all those shots must have tired him out, because Mobley ascribed his second-half slowdown to trying to conserve energy. Maybe he was just doing his civic duty as a visitor to California. Slim Shady aka Bob Sura got ran over by Cat all night . And what was up with Moochie taking it to the rack all through the 4th quarter? Mookie Blaylock and Vonteego Cummings didnt have an answer for that . ------------------ Dont Go Hakeem
Man Im glad my boy Larry didn't play because we would have lost. ------------------ President of the Steve Francis, Jamal Crawford,Larry Hughes, and Charles Woodson fan club.
pound for pound I'll go with Iverson. In a couple of years Mobley should be one of the top SG in the NBA. All he needs to learn is to play better D and stop trying to make highlight reel passes that end up in turnovers. ------------------
I agree. Just calculate his points per pound average, you'll see! ------------------ "No Brain Grant, no trade." -- Typos are a b**** as ZRB is holding Rocket trades hostage while he seeks a brain. Conspiracy theorists say this would explain why Hakeem has yet to be traded...
I wished he would've played- he would've bricked a WHOLE lot more than Sura did. ------------------ President of the Jason Collier and Mo Taylor fan club! Draftsource.net ClutchTown.com
Sura had a pretty solid game in his own right last night too...to the tune of 31 points, 6 rebs. and 6 assists. Was ANYBODY playing defense last night???? ------------------ There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."
