Best two-way guard in the league. Kobe is a close second, but his defense and offensive efficiency just is not quite as good as Wade's.

If I am not mistaken, only Lebron has a slight edge in PER rating?

And he owns Rodney Stuckey at the end by shutting him down. Wade isn't sick, he's depraved.

It is not really just because of this game, but it is close games like this that remind me just how sick, dangerous and fanatical Dwyane Wade is when the chips are down. He plays like a man possessed, I envy the **** out of Miami fans for having a player like that, and hope to high heaven we can one day get a true superstar on his level to come here to Houston and remind us again what it feels like to have a one man wrecking crew. It has been too long since Olajuwon made his mark in Houston.

    [/end of rant]

What would it take for it to happen? Clearly Miami can offer him more than anyone else money wise. But beyond that, would they consider trading him for Yao?

There are only three players in the league I would sell the farm for: Lebron, Wade and Kobe. But that goes without saying I guess.

The only place Wade would probably go if he leaves Miami is back to Chicago.

Wade is the most likeable of the current stars IMO. Kobe, Paul, Pierce, and Lebron have an annoying swagger and cry too much to the refs.

What was the point of the bitter T-Mac fans? Not to mention Kobe MIGHT be as good as Wade, maybe even a slight edge. DEF not >>>>

I think he's even better than Lebron. Best player in the league right now.

The play where he drove the baseline, spun around, did a 360 dribble and split the defense to dunk was one of the sickest plays I've ever seen.

When Wade makes videos trashing his teammates and then spends an entire summer throwing his organization under the bus because he is not winning games, then we will talk. :p

Sounds like you are an insecure Laker fan, why bother be on a Rockets forum? And just so you can sleep better at night, no one is trashing or "hating" on Kobe you blathering idiot, if you have been around here the past few months you will see that there are PLENTY of Kobe nuthuggers on Clutchfans, and they tend to start a thread for him every single time he does something to remind us of how great he is.

Both are great players, that much we can agree on. But if you think Kobe is a runaway "best player in the league", then I can assure you that outside of LA/Lakers nation no one is as sure as you are, and Lebron and Wade fans in their respective towns would also swear on their mothers that it is not even close. So unless you are a homer, no one in their right minds would think that Kobe or Lebron or Wade are that far apart.

Trying to argue who's the best between Kobe, LBJ and D.Wade is like trying to pick between a Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati. All three are extremely fast, expensive and stylish among other things. You can't lose with either 3. It boils down to personal preference.

Agreed. The problems with the discussion are people who insist on (1) tearing down other players that are compared to their personal favorite and/or (2) attacking the motives of other members who disagree with their opinions by calling them "haters" and other stupid terms. A lot of this may have to do with the age of some folks here.

I don't how someone can discredit LeBron, Kobe, or Wade. Why does everyone LOVE 1 of those guys and HATE at least 1 other? I guess bias is a large part of sports discussion but it just makes you come across as ignorant to hint that any of those guys are overrated.

That being said, give me D-Wade all day
