How about trading two up and coming players in the league. With the injury to Mo last year, Kenny got a chance to showcase his skills around the league. With that being said, since the Bucks lost some of their front court depth with the trade of Robinson, why don't we trade Kenny for a resigned Redd. We could have them sign Redd for what Kenny makes and that would give him triple of what he made last year.

Kenny is a good player and deserves to play more PT than he's gonna get here with Eddie and Mo as his teammates.

Plus, that would still leave us with enough $$$ to sign a FA, such as Menk, with our MCE.

    Ming, Cato, Collier
    Mo, Eddie, Menk
    Rice, Boki, T. Morris
    Cat, Redd, Maddox
    Wink, Mooch, T. Brown

I think that that wouldn't be a bad trade. We need to get rid of one of our power forwards and Redd is a good backup 2 guard. I would rather have Oscar then Tito though.

I don't see anything wrong with this, but I am not good at trade worth and stuff like that. Only possible problem I see is that Redd may want big time minutes and he probably won't get those here.

I'm not sure about how the money thing would work. I guess we could pick up another big man after the trade.

    And drpepper, YOU'RE MINE!

Redd himself isn't enough, a draft pick added in.... I just don't wanna trade KT. He is more valuable than most people think. But preseason will give us a feel of who has to go.

    KT > Redd

I don't want to give up KT for a backup 2 who will see scant next to none minutes. Better just to sign Voshon than give up KT. One of the reasons the Rocks have sucked these past few years is that we've had so many frontcourt injuries. With our bad luck I'd like to keep KT at least til around the trading deadline to see what happens.

have the Bucks throw in Haislipp to the deal, and the Rocks throw in TMo and/or Collie, and I'd be interested. Maybe, maybe no.

all we need is a backup sg.... can use either boki or rice,so they can have more play time...

    boki sf/sg
    rice sf/sg

Although the Thomas-Redd trade would not be bad in principle, I do agree that I wouldn't trade KT for a backup who will get very few minutes behind Cuttino. I think signing Voshon Lenard or Dell Curry with our MCE will be more than enough.

Truth, An additional draft pick with Redd for Kenny Thomas???

You've got to be kidding! Have you seen redd play and shoot? Kenny is undersized, only has two moves and is very predictable when he tries to create something. He can't even guard any PF so he's already a deffensive liability, not to mention his poor jump shot.

Some people need to stop having so many wet dreams about Kenny.

we don't need to get rid of a power forward just because it looks like we have 3 very-qualified ones. you never know what could happen and at this point kt is very much more a luxury than not. if he can fetch us something we really need than i'm for it, but he is a good player who works hard, nothing wrong with hanging on to that.

i would also throw in a pick then i would see it happen.

I don't see t mo being traded he will be boki's backup up a couple of years.

The trade is ok,but Redd will want more playing time.Mobley would still get 30-35 minutes.Secondly with Mo-T coming back from a major injury and Griffin still needing time to develop,KT remains a important player for us.
The best thing to do would be is to pickup the best available SG out there.

That isn't going to happen. Why would the Bucks want another undersized 4? Even though he's a bargain (but will need to be paid soon). Not to mention the Bucks are thin in the back court (Allen & Cassell are often injured) .... Keep trying to figure it out b/c Thomas will be gone by the end of the year, but it won't be to the Bucks. For no other reason b/c he's cheap & contract about to expire.

I'd rather stick with what we have for now, let Mo showcase his skills this year and trade him next offseason. I'd like to keep KT, he would fit well as a backup to EG because of the different look he brings at PF not to mention he will be a much more affordable.

    Not bad thinking, but...

believe like others stated above we'd do just as well signing a FA and not giving up KT. KT may have more value later or allow us to trade MoT.

Redd is an exciting and explosive scorer, but I'm not sure he'd fit well in Rudy's current rotation. Might be smarter to see how OT develops with another yr of experience...I like having a competent defensive player as back-up 2.

I don't think we'll make a trade before training camp. The team as it is has too many possibilities & question marks.

Mo-T: is he healthy, how long before he is in playing shape, can he pick up where he left off.

Glen Rice: is he healthy, how much is left in his tank.

Yao Ming: can he stay out of foul trouble, how long will it take for him to get used to playing 3 & 4 games a week instead of the 1 or 2 he's used to now, when will he be signed.

Until we find out about these 3 players, we don't know what we have or what we need. Analysing and treeking our present roster may take us into December. This process is what makes the upcomming season sooooooooo exciting!

I wish I knew more about Redd. I've heard people talk, but the truth is, I don't know much. Would he fit with Rocket players, coaches? What kind of player is he. All I know is that he plays 2 for the Bucks and wants to get paid more.
