Ok,here's another trade for the upcoming offseason Houston Trades: Oscar Torres $ 332,827 Dan Langhi $ 465,850 Cuttino Mobley $ 4,413,475 Minnesota Trades: Wally Szczerbiak $ 2,313,240 Chauncey Billups $ 2,475,000 TRADE ACCEPTED I think that would be a good deal for us.We get a good young SF, which fits good in our system and a backup PG in Chauncey Billups. And we get the rid of Langhi.Minnesota hasn't a real SG,so they would be interested in Mobley. They get a good backup for him in OT and also a good shooter in DL.Then we draft Chris Marcus and Rasual Butler and get the rid of Walt Williams and Kevin Willis (i think he will retire after this year). Then we have a new 3 guard rotation in Francis,Billups and Norris.Move Francis to the 2 and make Billups or Moochie the starting PG.And this would be our roster for the 2002-2003 season: C-Griffin,Marcus,Cato F-Taylor,Thomas F-Szczerbiak,Butler,Morris G-Francis G-Norris,Billups,Brown On IR:Collier and Rice What you think??
I don't want anyone from Minny but Garnett, and his contract makes trades nearly impossible. Mobley by himself is better than either of those players. OT is about equal to Billups. That trade stinks.
I personally want to know what is with all of this dreamcastings...it's making me sick. Give the team time to play together - and give the trades some thought! Minny isn't going to trade Wally, and the Rockets aren't going to trade Cuttino. Sheesh.
1. Torres and Langhi both become FAs this summer 2. Wally is perfect for this team but CD & Rudy won't trade the CAT for him and it makes no sense for Minnesota. case closed
Except that he scores more points per game, gets more defensive boards AS A GUARD, gets twice as many steals and blocks, stops penetration, plays more minutes, commits fewer fouls, draws double teams, shoots much better from the charity stripe, and all while being the focus of the opponents D for the majority of the season. Outside of shooting percentages and height, in what way is he NOT better than Wally-World?
