Is that we also have a slim chance of actually seeing Memphis in the first round. They've been playing some pretty good ball lately and they've soared passed Dallas in the standings and breathing down SA's neck (only a 1/2 game from them). They're only 3 games off on the #3 spot and they have the tiebreaker over LA (2-1) and if Dallas keeps struggling on their road trip, we can catch up to them, especially if we beat them in the last game of the season. We're only 2 1/2 off them for now. If in all unlikeihood that plays out, I think we might actually EXPECT them to come out of the first round IF we get Memphis given the fact that they've got the same playoff experience as us, hardly anything. If we play to our potential and Yao and Francis is on all their cyilinders, we can beat that team. That being said though I think the Lakers will lock up the #3 seed now that they got Malone back and seem to be on top of their game with the stifling defense they played on SAC last night and basically blew them out of the Staples Center. Just pointing out the fact that there's a slim possibility that we can play Memphis in the first round. That's even a better opponent for us IMO.
