It's a soap opera because McGrady decides to e-mail some Yahoo bloggers his return date before talking to the team, or announce his surgery decision to Stephen A Smith on ESPN before telling his on the team.
He obviously feels as though he's almost ready to be back, but the doctors are making him wait when he no longer feels like he should. He said he wanted to play against the t'wolves. i have no doubt that that's true or that he could maybe even start against them on the 18th. but the doctor's wont let him. its not the coaches decision when mcgrady feels ready to play. the moment he and the doctors say its time. he will be playing. It might just be that for once in a long while he's more confident in himself than the doctor's. The guy is eager. This is a good sign...
So the guy has some confidence in himself and is a little disobedient, why turn it into something it is not?
when i played the psp games " NBA 2k10 " , i still felt T-MAC#3 is the most great player in the league , but when i watched the internet news about T-MAC , i always remember a word from the advertisement of ADIDAS suddentely, " you are fool !!!"
He had tons of fallout after his surgery decision announcement to Stephen A Smith; and yet he made the same mistake again this year. There's nothing wrong with being confident, but making the same mistakes repeatedly is just stupid. Before you go announcing you return to Yahoo, you probably should make sure your coach and GM aren't going to refute that the next day.
First of all he never said i'm coming back on the 18th, he said it was my target date, but it's not certian..... second of all, morey cameout and defended mcgrady on 610 two days later. all he said was it was a targe date i've had for a while. he never said that set in stone and i'm gonna be o the court on the 18th. as usuall the medi blowing it out of porpotion
He's huge talent on our team, but come on, all that crap that gets laid on him, well, he asked for it.
Based on a lengthy, documented history, we "obviously" can't take McGrady's word for anything. He needs to just shut and focus on getting himself together and instead of burying his credibility any further. I can't wait until he's gone.
NOT this "first of all", my friend Yeah, just because he felt doing something wrong? then have to fix it by saying "target date"? His or the media's fault?
