Another poor cracker needing computer assistance...

    Hey peops,
    so my mother acquired this old IBM in Windows 95 which we want to utilize for the family business. Problem is (or the presently known existing one) I get a wonderful message at startup telling me the command file Win.com is unavailable. Unfortunately, neither I nor anyone I know within close physical distance is sitting in front of a Windows 95 PC. So if one of you kind night owls with a Windows 95 PC have a moment, I'd really appreciate it if you could e-mail me a copy of Win.com. I (very stupidly) tried plugging in Windows 98's win.com and the computer took it very poorly.
    If you feel like helping me out, do you mind posting something to let me and everyone else know, and then just e-mailing me at sim1101@aol.com?

    oh yeah, and if anyone happens to know a place I can just download it, that would be great too. I've tried searching, but just wasn't too successful.

    I don't know why I didn't think to go to Microsoft's site. I guess I've had such bad experiences trying to find anything there in the past, I just repressed them. Thanks, movement! Worked like a charm.

    I have also had difficult times trying to find references to Microsoft's own error messages. They should hire Google to redo their search engine.

    How fast is this old IBM?

    I have two old wkstns that I want to sell for cheap.

    They are both PII-450, 128MB, GigaByte GA6VXE+ board.
    Both have CDRom, NIC, and vid card. One of the vid card is a Diamond 16MB. Both have an Adaptec 2940UW card. One has a WD 9.1GB SCSI HD, they other a 4 or 9 GB IDE HD.

    I'll let it both go for $500.
