Yao makes Hakeem look like a little kid. Funny that that little kid would have probably schooled Yao in his prime.

We seriously should sign Hakeem to a 2 year contract to play backup Center / PF. I would love to see Hakeem back, even as a player coach. Seems the two really like each other, and are friends. Cool.

You've got some hate/grudge against Big Yao ?? Everyone knows he does not have great vertical leap..... But does he really need to jump very high? No, let all those "shorties" jump to make out the 1/2 foot to 1 feet height difference first.

Well with these latest publicity photos of the 2 giants together, then maybe at least there is some truth in what Wang Meng wrote in his latest article on tom.com. http://nba.sports.tom.com/2007-06-18/0424/84013046.html The article was nothing sort of describing how Yao Ming refused to indulge himself over the summer. After taking 5 days off after the Game 7 defeat by Utah Jazz, he abruptly terminated his vacation, and started 2 hours training at home (1 hour on the bike, and another hour doing some stretching exercise). And then, while waiting for further diagnosis/prognosis of his injured shoulder, he resumed training, weight lifting and running exercise at Toyota Centre. In the article, it also mentioned after that highly publicized meeting/training with Hakeem the Dream Olajuwon on May 22, there had been a couple of follow-up sessions between the 2 of them. And Yao Ming was dumbfounded by the Dream's ability. There was even a quote there in Wang Meng's article: "At his current body form, speed and explosiveness, with more practice and reconditioning, I'm afraid I could only play back-up for him." And the caption of those photos on tom.com are: 火箭"双塔"重现江湖 , literally means The Return of the Houston Rockets Twin Towers. Yeah just imagine the 2 of them playing together........
