I believe man can cause global warming because obviously CO2 can make for a atmospheric condition leading to more energy being trapped. But considering there are many people against it, and the air quality in many of our cities are so crap, why not focus more on actual pollutants than CO2? You could kill two birds with one stone also. Since smog is a regional thing, start to regulate people who drive or park downtown have to have faily low smog cars. And at a certain date, must have zero emission if they want to drive downtown, or operate a taxi. Frankly I care about global warming but talking to some people I found out if it happens, the worst that will happen to me (in my lifetime) is the price of fresh produce will rise dramatically due to water shortage.

Who would bother with getting a special car just to go downtown, other than big money earners who have to go there? Sounds like a recipe for deterring traffic and business to the area. Regulate on, oh king of green.
Anyone who has to park there would. If they cannot park there they will use more park and rides. Less car traffic, less need for road construction, less accidents, less smog. thanks, i like the title. Will accept.
