drunken home team fans really make enjoying a game as a visiting team fan difficult. the thing that makes me laugh is these big markets have the most entitled fans, they act like no one is allowed to move to their town and root for anyone besides the home team... that chick was hot

I think he could have been less passive, but actually instigating a fight would have resulted in at least a 2 on 1 beat down, and that's if more of those jerks didn't jump in for some cheap shots like I'm sure they would have. Not to mention he was at a disadvantage being a row below them. Basically he was facing severe humiliation for doing nothing, or severe humiliation and physical injury from doing more. Tough spot. Overinflated sense of entitlement by hometown fans + beer + mob mentality = loss of civility.

Very true, all you have to do is look at how he's swarmed when the chick goes up to get security, like 4 guys head over to him talking crap. That being said that chicks is stupid for flipping the dudes hat at the start then later hitting the dude. It's an unwinnable situation and her starting hit on the guy made everything a hellva lot worse.
This is why I don't take my family to sporting events any more. It's nothing but drunken morons everywhere, it's not fun, it's expensive, and it's far away.
They have this new thing out called a T.V where you can watch it at the comfort of your own home.. You can even buy your own beer at your local grocery stores for your own convenience... If you want to take the wife and kids out on the town, go to a zoo..
I'm not sure what I would do if I was that guy. I can tell you no matter what happened at the game if I was that girl's boyfriend she would be getting an angry speech from me when we get home about starting fights with men (unless she showed me her boobies). In fact, every girl I get into a relationship gets that speech before she gets (me) into trouble (unless they show me their boobies).

That's actually one of the things I like about Houston's laid back sporting event crowds. Crap like this very rarely happens at Rockets, Astro, or Texans games. A lot more families and a lot less THUGS than LA.
