My wife and I are expecting our second child July 5. Seeing how the Rockets ripped off their 22 game winning streak after our daughter was born, I'm really hopeful the next one will be born into a world that has the Rockets as the defending NBA champs!
Congratulations! Do you already have names picked out from the previous child, or are you two coming up with new names?
We're going to use the boy name we had picked out for the first one (Ian Malcolm) and if it's a girl, we're going with Piper Grace.

We had an ultrasound scheduled for next Friday to see if we were having a boy or a girl, but after Lil Pun found out they were having a girl, I got impatient to know NOW. So I bumped up our ultrasound date to today, and we're having a boy. We're definitely going to roll with Ian Malcolm Thompson for the name. 1 boy and 1 girl sounds awesome. Hopefully they both grow up to be smart, responsible, and Clutch Fans!

Thanks everyone! We've got 2 dogs, which we had long before the kids came. Our daughter's first word was "Dog!". My wife and I joked that we kind of wanted another girl, our parents wanted a boy, and our daughter wanted another dog. For the record, we're ecstatic about having a boy.
