Another Brother to be on 610 this morning

Tuesday's 10 o'clock.

He Rocks.

 

Stuck at work, wish I could listen. In terms of pure comedy, I personally don't think anything is funnier than listening to Charlie Palillo do commercials for 'soft' products. Charlie's voice comes across as very sharp, dry, and with just a slight touch of bitterness to it. Don’t get me wrong, I think he’s great, but he’s got a very ‘tough guy’ persona on-air. When he does commercials for the Pajama-gram, Vermont Teddy Bear, and my personal favorite, Bubbles Car Wash, you can just tell he is fighting with his voice to not show his soft side. It is this internal struggle that I find amusing. Listen next time for the way he pronounces the words “Ultra soft lambs’ wool mitts” when he does the Bubbles commercial.

Or perhaps I’m the only one that thinks this is amusing.

 

Are you kidding? It's hilarious! Especially when you see his diminutive stature!

 

Glad I'm not alone in thinking that.

 

I've escaped your scrutiny once again. For the record I had fun today, hopefully listeners did too.
