My lady and I went to San Antonio this weekend for a romantic getaway, wanted to check out the Rivercenter Comedy Club, and who's the headliner? Our very own Billy D. Washington, aka Another Brother! I consider myself a huge comedy connossieur (I even have a little bit of a comedy background myself, did improv in high school for Comedysportz) so I was super stoked to see a fellow clutch fan on stage. I've seen some of his stuff on YouTube so I knew he was funny but he absolutely KILLED it last night. He did a lot of crowd work and was absolutely brilliant. I think a good mark of how truly funny a comic is is how he does crowd work because it showcases his natural wit and Billy was hysterical.

I highly recommend y'all go check him out when you can. I understand he usually performs at the Improv in Houston.

No, AB did not pay me to write this.

Another Brother almost got me in an accident today.

I was driving up on Calistoga in Northern California to some wildlife preserves (through highway 175), and if anyone's been there, they'll know it's a windy one road going up a steep mountain. Being that far away from my city, I didn't get my regular radio channel so I played around until I got this comedy station. About part way in they played this comedian who did bits with a piano. There's a funny Classical bit then a Reggae bit. I didn't think anything of it, but the radio voice said it was Billy D. Washington! I was so surprised, I didn't see an oncoming car coming down a curve. I hit brakes and avoided him.

Then they had an interview with Billy. He was talking about saving a Mitch Over...something a weekend at a club. He's famous man!
