To show how true the stats are and that guns are really the cause of all of our children's deaths. http://www.wbbm780.com/pages/3652162.php?
In the time between this and your previous posting about a teenager being shot while committing a robbery, how many innocent people died from guns. I think more alone in just that Christmas eve massacre. So what exactly is the point of these threads? What's the statement you are trying to make?
we should ban guns but legalize driving while using a cellphone. Let's throw away our guns so our government can better protect us and change our diapers.
10 times more people are killed every year from drunk drivers than are "accidently" killed by guns. Of course stats never lie, guns kill our children.
This just looks like a bad decision or two that ended in the (second to) worst way possible. Oh well, I guess "some black people are sadder" now.
Man, that sucks to shoot someone over a couple of bucks. That's going to ride on his conscience for a long time.
If I were in his shoes, I wouldn't know if they were armed or whether they were going to hurt me afterwards. Killing a man would suck, but there's a reason why self defense isn't murder. Hindsight and all that....
Correction: Self Defense is a defense that will keep you from getting convicted of murder in a criminal trial.
Wow. Guns kill kids. The stupid kid tried to rob a guy. If the Kid does not try to commit a felony.....he is still alive. Sorry. IMO, he killed himself. Keep your dumb ass out of trouble and you would not be dead.
Yay! A kid died and now I can use the article to make a political statement on a message board! Seriously disgusting.
my main problem is our society has much less of a problem with DWI then it does gun charges. Mainly because so many people grew up not around guns except with them on TV where a car is shot and then blows up in a fireball. Yet they did possibly grow up watching people drink and drive and for some reason think that is OK or the norm. When these viewpoints are made into law and are based on nothing but ignorance and fear it is a shame.
There are commercials about the dangers of drunk driving every day, when's the last time you saw a PSA about even the most basic of gun safety?
What's your point? I agree with you; we need to seriously step up the enforcement of the gun control and DWI laws.
