I happen to come across cc.net several months ago and since then I have visit the site almost everyday on my leisure time. As everybody knows, the site is awesome in the way it's being run, layout and police. I enjoy reading everybody opinions and frustrations. However, I like to acknowlege those posters who have stand out by taking the time out to provide us average fan with knowledgeable, well thougth out, in-depth analysis. It's the main reason why I still have high respect for this site and continue to come back day after day to check out the latest development and insight on the Rockets. I don't know if there were such a thing done previously, but I think it's nice to have a poll to acknowledge and recognize the great posters here as they truly deserve to be. For a start, those that stand out for me are the clutch members, GATER, SANE and several others who ID I could not remember now. I'll have to search for them later. All opinions welcome
Wow, I'm flattered. My name was actually mentioned. I guess DaDakota is the most interesting poster to me. He always seems to instill some controversy into threads by making one or two sharp statements, and it makes for good conversation.
Sane, Yup, DaDakota is also on my list. When I have a little time later, I'll provide my list of nomination.
ME!!! Nah, I don't post enough. Off the top of my head I'd have to vote for Sane. I've read plenty of good posts from him.
windandsea shes stopped posting lately but when she would, they were always very informational and interesting posts.
windandsea is a definite. newcomer of the year has to be newgirl. she seems very rational and her posts are always well thought out. i will also add LiTtley1521 on the list for EFFORT. He/she always seems very enthusiastic about the Rox and always tries to provide input.
I say HeyPartner... Even though the guy has contradicted (and blasted) me a few times he is flat out funny and has good info.
I nominate Free Agent for always providing us with all the articles about the Rockets he can find!!! Very appreciated.
HP is a perennial poster here & almost a synonym with intelligent posts on CC.NET But I do feel this thread should be moved to a different forum, maybe Feedback? Clutchy, are you listening?
A-Train, FreeAgent, DaDakota....posters who stand out. OH, and RockHead. Whenever he posts....most notably for his PBP.
I did this last year. Jeff won by a landslide, and I can't imagine the results would be any different.
I'll nominate TheSage (or something like that, I forgot his nickname). Few posts, but always well thought and detailed analysis. I've got a good impression on his(her?) posts. Who else can I think of.... I remember last time I read a very in-depth discussion about basketball. I think it was started by Dr. something asking if it's possible to adopt some college basketball strategy. I remember two people replied in a basketball language that educate me a lot.
In this forum ...? I'd go with Sane and Dada. Clutch too, of course, but his posts are more commandments from the mountain, and so beyond the profane realm of us groundlings.
