i must have been in the be a tool section. these two dudes next to me not only desperately tried to keep a beat with the rowdies (which is ok,but why bang your banger when we are at the line? and no they couldnt keep a beat with the rowdies, its like they were amzed by bangers, and they are grown men),then everyone who missed "sucked" and yao should rebound cuz he's taller. they seemed like they knew more about football if anything. then these girls(who tak like they are somewhat regulars) behind us were saying tmac didnt come back cuz he is crying in the locker room in pain (that was funny) but they constanly b****ed about yao being a "r****d"
(this was said 100s of times),rpd, clutch, everyone sucks on both teams, then were cheering yao and everyone like crazy during that run we had in 4th.

the dudes left in the 3rd,the chicks stayed and were talking about leaving,i said "maybe you should, but they didnt here. my thing is if your a fan of the other team, naturally your gonna diss us,but if you seem to hate eveerything about the game, why go?stay home

i get mad at my team but its annoying when ppl diss when they dont knwo the game, again stay home.

I feel you, I'm all about being critical when you should be but man some folks are just talking out of their ass and it pisses me off.

"Dammit Yao make a decision when you get the ball" is a frustrated fan venting

"Yao is a p***y, he is 7'6" and can't rebound or dunk, he should score 50 every game because he is so tall" is a dumbass projecting

This is fairly common. It is just less than casual fans who probably went because they got free tickets, or tickets from someone at the last minute. These people go about their normal lives, not even slightly affected by a Rockets loss. I on the other hand usually take a loss pretty hard and it does affect me, especially now.

I can excuse the women though because I don't really expect them to know.

I would fully agree with you, but it sounds like "some" of their complaints were justified.....

    Yay equality.

    Were they hot?

Would have been a good time to drop some pickup lines, like "Yeah, Yao sucks right now, speaking of which what are you girls doing after the game?"

It's ok. I want to fight one of my coworkers cause he keeps talkin sht about the Rockets.

"Why use the MLE on Stromile swift? Houston should've signed NO one, Scola is TRASH, Rockets will NOT make the playoffs"

    What a b*stard.

whew, had to let that out.

Ok but seriously, why let a fan ruin your time there? The run was great and yao had a good night with 17 boards! Thanks for staying through the game to cheer them on, even if they were having the worse shooting night of the season.

    Let the truth be told.

Hey sometimes, the truth hurts :D . Seriously though, I have yet to met a girl that is a knowledgeable, real Rockets fan. Because If I did, I'd marry her by now.

There are these really annoying fans that sit in all in this one section on the baseline lower bowl. They always are wearing stupid crap and look like a bunch of idiots. It looks like all these loud jerks bought a huge block of season tickets because they are ALWAYS THERE.

    How annoying.

we sat next to three people yesterday who sat through the whole game...the Rockets make they're big run and are down by 1 point with 19 seconds to go. THAT'S WHEN THEY DECIDE IT'S TIME TO LEAVE! Really? you have something so important to do that you've got to leave 19 seconds early with the game still hanging in the balance?! That irritated me to no end...

I think the players are more annoying than the fans. I can hit 10 out 10 free throws all day long. I know junior high players who can; it is a free throw! Like no one guarding you! Like the same distance from the hoop! Like take your time! Good grief people, this is fundamental. Now that's annoying.

I noticed on the last posession right before Luther chucked up that miserable 3 that fans in the front row were leaving as the play was developing......I think that's the first time that I've ever seen that in an NBA game.....maybe they knew we were going to lose and didn't want to see the play?!?!??? *shrugs shoulders*

don't criticize She-mac and Bonzi's freethrow shooting........they don't like it when you do that, because it hurts their feelings.........

I like how girls are always like, "Get the ball! Get the ball! C'mon. Shoot it. Make it. Nooooo!"

My son shot 214/300 FT yesterday and wanted me to compute the average (that's how young he is!). There are only three (!!) Rockets that shoot better than him from the line (Yao, Head, and James). The rest of you need to hang your heads in shame.

I actually prefer women that really don't know much about sports.....that's the kind of thing I want to talk about with my boys anyway....as long as she cheers for my teams and can put up with my sports obsessions then she's good to go........

Ok to those who say they can make 10/10 free throws or your kid can make that many, I applaud you...good for you. But the fact of the matter is, shooting free throws in a game type situation when you've played a whole game and your legs are giving out and your contstantly practicing and playing games every other day is way more different then going to the gym with fresh legs and shooting free throws. And there are distractions in the building so please excuse the players for being human and having an off night from the charit stripe.
