do you have any? what annoys you about them? i have one, he's an older fella but tries to act "cool" by cheating on his wife and whatnot, very annoying. don't really have the time for him so i choose not to even socialize with him normally, but i made the mistake of drinking with some co-workers that happened to have included him.
haha that reminds me of that Office episode where Jim has that party and doesn't invite Micheal and he ends up showing up anyway.
LMAO!!! (okay, now i feel bad about possibly derailing the thread. so i'll at least answer the question - nope. no co-workers. i work alone.)
How about "I'm gonna talk on the phone all day about personal and intimate stuff" co-worker. Never mind that THE WHOLE office can hear you but is it really that hard to not talk about your personal life out loud? Hell, notice that pile of paper on your desk mysteriously geeting bigger and bigger? Of course not!! I gotta call my sister and talk about ointments that the doctor prescribed,(Yeah!! that really happened!) or about the guy you went out with and spent the night with. DO SOME WORK!!!!!
I'm probably the annoying coworker because I dont say good morning all pleasantly to everyone, wonder how everyone's weekends gone, not very sociable overall. And when I am supposed to be working they see clutchfans.com on my computer screen half the time A manager knows my username now...I'll say they've done a decent job getting the screwballs out of there, such as 1-Upper (everything someone does they got personal story that tops that) and Personal Phone Calls Are Spoken Loudly girl. Now there's "Current Mood Status" worker, like the statuses on Myspace and Facebook and instant messengers. Like "Gaaaaaawd is it FRIDAY YET?!" Then she lays down slumped over the desk in defeat, face on top the keyboard like the work day's already ruined her week by 10AM on Monday. Sometimes done when the person did something "cool" the previous Friday and want to talk about it.
KRAMER: Yeah. Hey listen, I uh, I need a picture of you, buddy. JERRY: What for? KRAMER: Well, I'm uh, I'm putting everybody's picture up in the lobby of our building. JERRY: Why? KRAMER: So everyone will know everybody's name. See, people are gonna be a lot friendlier. JERRY: (reluctant) I, I don't want my picture plastered up in the lobby. KRAMER: Imagine walking by someone on the floor, and you say "Hey, Carl!" and he says "Hey, Jerry!" You see, that's the kind of society I wanna live in. JERRY: (still reluctant) Kramer, I don't wanna stop and talk with everyone, every time I go in the building. I just wanna nod and be on my way.
i understand, i'm at work to make money, not to make friends. i guess that would make me anti-social? i'd rather have friends outside of work, cause i don't wanna see the same people at work and outside work.
I hate the "I want to know every single thing about you" co-worker. I guess they hate me for being the unfriendly co-worker.
I got a guy that sits next to me that does everything his own way (different from the rest of us), considering hes been told to do it like everyone a couple of times. He comes in smelling like weed after lunch, he talks on his phone a lot (talking very rudely to his wife, and loud to anyone else).... he just has his own rules that HE made for HIMSELF. I could go on forever about the things he does that the rest of us can not stand most of the time. The sad thing is that I think he drags down the production of the rest of us... he helps with some stuff but ultimately I think we could be MORE productive without him. I guess its a nice perk to have when your the owner's son...
None of my co-workers have any annoying habits whatsoever. I love them all and they feel the same way about me. I am sure of it.
I don't do the goodmorning thing either and do not want to talk to anyone. I just want to do my job, hope that nobody bothers me and go home
