This is where the Astros turn their season around. WWW side prediction: Clemens pitches a no hitter tomorrow night.
I swear, even the pitcher can draw a damn walk and then biggio pops out? We couldn't get a timely hit to save the world.
we're back! i love the situation the astros are in.. its fun rooting for a club that most people have given up on.
just got back from the game. The pitching was great but no way would i say the slump is over. The astros left 13 men on base. The bases were loaded twice and they got an RBI on a Jason Lane Fielders choice. Kent and Vizcaino looked great, and it was nice to see Bagwell finally hit a homerun. He had a couple of great rips throughout the game, they just were going behind him, you could see the homerun coming. Still too early to start jumping up and down though, but it was a great game.
More fun rooting for a team meeting expectations, exceeding expectations, or at least fulfilling expectations (by season's late October conclusion).
We Win! And Bagwell hits a homerun in he 8th inning whe the game is all but in the bag to make it 5-0. Someone said it in another topic, but does anyone else agree that none of his homeruns come in timely situations? Always the 3 run blast in the 7th or 8th when the 'stros are up lie 9- 2. I hope that these bats are waking up! Lets score some runs for Rocket tomorrow!
