On Jim Rome today- he talked about Andy Rooney attending a Dodgers game and complainiing about seeing women making out, kissing and making love. Rooney cried in his curmudgeonly way. I never really thought Rooney funny and in this circumstance - just obnoxious and a bore. Rome was really funny how he berated Rooney. Rooney should not be on TV anymore. Rooney is wrong....
Theres is no place for Mr. Rooney on television anymore. Although women making out at the games could be alright for some it isn't for everyone. But I think Rooney really did himself in when he complained that women have no place as reporters on NFL sidelines. I don't understand why it was necessary to say it in the manner he did.
Rooney is a relic from another time who should be ground up into Soylent Green. "Soylent Green is people....IT"S PEOPLE!!!"
