I saw on some NBA discussion show that Vandeweghe thinks that the Sixers might still be wanting to move Andre Miller.

Who would move Rafer and a #1 for Andre Miller? I would.

Other ideas to get him? ... or do you not want AMiller?

How about Rafer plus Sura plus Mutumbo plus #1 for Andre Miller and Steven Hunter... have to wait until 2/19 though. Works on Real GM.

Why would they want Rafer over Andre? They already have 3 first round picks.

Ask Kiki; it surprised me too but both he and the other "expert" on the show agreed that Philly probably didn't really want AMiller. That's what they said...

No, that part I know, I saw it on the 76er's forum. But I'm saying why would they rather have Rafer over Andre?

How does Philly wanting to get rid of Andre mean they want to pursue Rafer? It doesn't. That will just mean Philly wants to get rid of Rafer too. :D

No way we give up a #1 for him. Rafer plus Sura's contract, maybe. The Sixers would see it as a salary dump. I'm not that high on Miller but I'm completely fed up with Rafer.

Miller is a horrible 3 pt shooter, far worse than Rafer.

    It doesn't work contract-wise.

Somehow add Miller at 10 mil per year and fill the roster with nbdl talent for the next 3 years or take a punt on a lucas for diener swap?

if he were on the rockets diener would be dishing out more assists and hitting more threes than rafer is.

We need a shooter, not a passer at this point. Miller could be a serious liability in our offense.

if they move him, it's gotta be for an expiring contract and a draft pick. Billy King thinks he's some sort of genius by trying to stockpile picks for next year's draft. I'm pretty sure if they get an expiring contract(s) and a 1st or 2nd rounder, Miller would be on the move again.

Oooo. Interesting. Like I said in another thread, I was a Miller fan during his days in Cleveland. To avg 10 assists one season w/ the sucky team we (speaking as a Cavs fan) had at the time was nothing short of amazing. And he's got a decent (read: better than most guys on the Rockets) ability to slash to the basket and create his own shot. The only thing is he's not a great 3 point shooter, unless that's changed recently? He's a smart guy that plays within himself. My major problem w/ Alston is on some plays he loses all focus and just starts jacking up stuff despite the fact that he's got the worst opportunity of the whole team at that moment. I wouldn't complain either way if we traded Alston for him or not.

How about this? Would you guys trade Bonzi for him? I'm not really expecting it or even willing to do this right now. But the truth is Bonzi might not pan out, even this season, and he's more attractive trade bait. That said, I'm still hopeful Bonzi could be the third piece of the puzzle for us.
