    Anderson's trade idea:

trade Anderson to Milwaukee Bucks for Jiri Welsch :

    trade Anderson to Philadelphia 76ers for John Salmons ;

    trade Anderson to New Jersey for Zoran Planinic;

With Sura coming in soon couldn't we dump Moochie and have Sura come in during the 2nd quarter with 6 min left?

    Wes + DA + Mooch = 10.8 mil with 9.2 expiring = ??????

Some type of package with New Orleans that gets us Speedy Claxton and J.R. Smith would be incredible.

I know it would take more than we can offer - but I would love to get a quick agressive playmaker like Duhon or Claxton. That would really help this team.

Would love to get Jiri Welsh for Anderson and Moochie.

Anderson and Swift are perfect pieces for NJ. We can three way with them and Toronto or just trade straight up for Marc Jackson and Zoran Planicic and the NJ first round pick in 2007. They might give up one of their picks this year, too.

NJ will pay the most for those two guys. The guys we get back only need to be serviceable and healthy, and preferably coachable, as long as we good a good pick with them.

EDIT - actually, we could ship out Juwon to NJ and he'd fit right in there. That would solidify them for the playoff run right now. It's also respectful to those guys to give them a real chance to win with Kidd, Carter, and RJ.

That would save Swift for a seperate trade - try to get Harrington with Swift and Moochie, or even go for Swift and Head, if Harrington would re-sign.

Moves us along toward a better future and stockpiles some picks.

    Tradeable Assets

    *Open to Trade
DAnderson - small contract, smart vet (will be a good option for a contender)
DWesley - good shooter, expiring contract (lil undersized)
    Moochie - expiring contract
JHoward - decent post player (long contract)

*Would trade for the right offer
SSwift - decent contract loads of potential
LHead - undersized SG but quick fearless shooter
Almost anyone else not named TMac or Yao

We have to look at teams calling it quits for the season.. usually the lower brackets on both conferences.

what is our priority? we need to look at SF / PF / C (future)

I like Zaza Pachulia, Joe Smith, Joel Przybilla, (PF/C)
for SF Caron Butler, Stephen Jackson, Hedo Turkoglu or a couple from Atl. (loaded at SF)

    J

Notice that only DA has been mentioned as trade bait, but Jon Barry is actually in the same position. I like JB, but it is interesting that he hasn't been cleared to play as well.

trade him to the nets for jacque vaughn and a pick.

rafer has been going it alone at the point, he needs a backup who's got at least 15+ minutes in him every night.

hmm...DA for eric williams? I think we could go for that if its a 1on1 trade....If it's a package, I think it would be DA+Swift or Moohie or Wesley for someone....

Send him to NJ, too. Let them all try to win now. Deke, too. They may even want Moochie :).

Shoot, that'd be fair to our guys, they worked hard enough for a real shot.

    NJ would have

    Kristic/Deke
    Howard/Collins
    RJ/Barry
    Carter/Anderson
    Kidd/Vaughn (moochie :))

We can take back whatever. Three-way for some decent players, or just give us your spare parts and allllllll those picks, and some future picks, say in 2008, when NJ needs a fleet of scooters to wheel the bad knees to the dumpster.

i don't think JB will get any more PT, nor do i think he will be traded. we talked him out of retirement for one last year. he doesn't care if he doesn't play anymore.

hopefully we can find a trade for DA. i would hate to have to cut him.

i don't think we will move wesley with DA because i doubt that JVG wants to rely on bogans and head at the 2 just yet.

i don't think moochie will be traded because getting a "rotation player" in return for a "non-rotation player" doesn't help us clear out the log jam in the back-court.

we may just see DA for change...that's it.

I hate to throw a wet blanket on the DA trade possibilities; but with reports like Clutch's that DA will be traded OR WAIVED , why would anyone want to trade something of value to get DA when they can just sign him off waivers?

I think he stands a better chance of being traded because of his contract. A team can give the Rockets a small, expiring contract with a pick (probably a 2nd). DA's salary shouldn't be hard to match unlike a lot of other players in this situation.

Plus, if a team really sees that he could add much needed depth at that position at a low cost, you grab him before he hits the market where he has his choice and may not choose to sign with you.
