Okay, yeah we had a good run of 5 straight wins without him, but they were against pretty easy teams.

Bad news is, we lost to a sucky team that we should have beat even without Tracy.

Good news, T-Mac is comin back next game probably.

Do you seriously think we would have lost this game tonight if T-Mac was playin?

I think we should give it time, I have confidence that once T-Mac comes back we will be able to play like we did the first 7 games of the season when we were 6-1 and improve on that to get a good streak going.

I agree that people greatly overstated how good we were playing in T-Mac's absence. But even if T-Mac comes back next game, still iffy, he's not going to be close to 100%. He'll be tentative on his drives, and he'll be out of shape. I don't anticipate any dramatic turnaround for us.

The bad news is that the Rockets dropped both games because they melted down. The Rox led both games going into the fourth quarter at home. What was their record when taking a lead into the fourth? Something like 15-2?

And then they get blown out of the water twice and let the opposing team score 30+ points on them in the last quarter. That's just softness, a compete melt down. How is T-Mac going to fix that?

T-mac would be a great help in any team, I don't think he's a selfish player, he plays hard, and nobody guards him one-on-on.

But the thing is, you shake his hand and dude gets hurt.........

he alone cant fix anything. We had meltdowns with t-mac, and we will continue to have them until core team issues are improved.

I see the TMac nuthuggers were hiding when Rockets were on a winning streak. I bet you guys were jumping for joy and waiting for the Rockets to lose so you can post your nonsense on here.

Sorry TOFs, but Rockets are better without Tracie McLady. ;)

Naw I was actually happy the Rockets were winning without him because that shows potential for improvement when he comes back.

Believe it or not, T-Mac is a superstar in this league with great talent, him coming back into the lineup will surely help.

Who do we have other than Yao right now who we can depend on to consistently make a play?

Not to mention that he draws double teams and opens up the floor for our shooters. If the role players can make their open shots, we will obviously be much better.

He plays hard sometimes and derek Fisher held him in check in last years playoffs. But that being said he needs to get back on the court!!!

Uhm......yeah I do. Losing games in the fourth quarter is not a new thing for this generation of Rockets, they've been doing it for years.

Not having Tmac is not the problem for tonight's lost.

    Our problems were:

    • Rafer shooting 7/17
    • Luther shooting 6/20
    • Adelman kept playing Rafer/Luther for 40+ minutes when they were obviously in a shooting slump
    • Luther, our SG is having more assist than our PG
    • Adelman was playing Yao for another 40+ minutes again

We're much better with an energetic smart TMac. We haven't seen much of that this season ....

So Luther shoots it 20 times and plays for 40 minutes if T-Mac is in the game? Riiiiiight....pass the drugs.

Understandable, but who do we have on the roster that we can depend on in the clutch other than T-Mac?

Adelman might need an excuse why he will give the ball to Tmac when Tmac is back. ;)

You guys do realize that if we traded Tmac, we'd get some really good players in return - who WOULD be playing in this game..

I think what we need is JVG... Didn't we win over 50 games last year with all those injuries and less talents?

A smart Luther?? Luther has the BB IQ of a turnip. Are we better without TMac. No. But if we get TJack and soft D, we're only slight better with him.

YUP we would still have lost the game

    • If the lazy-faire Rick Idleman still sat there emotionless and did not make timely time-outs and appropriate on-the-fly substitutions
    • if the inept guards could not utilize Big Yao properly, and could not even make the easiest entry level passes at the right time and right position, and
    • if TMAC shunned from doing more penetration
    • if the guards could not stop making unnecessary costly turnovers
    • and TMAC has to resort to just laying bricks the same way as the TMAC-Wannabe Luther Head.......
