Well, it's that time of the year again, intramurals at Canadian University College. Our gym, which is probably the best in Alberta, has been having repairs all semester so far, so there's been no basketball - but finally, next wednesday, it'll be back up and ready to go. Anyways, there's not a lot of ballers here, since it's Canada and all, but there are 65 players ready to go. The 5 team draft was held last night. I've never made the team at the school, but have improved a lot this year, the year that the school only played away game (because of the gym), so i didn't try out.

Anyways, the surprise of the draft last night, in my opinion, was me going 6th overall. I was hoping to fall to 10th so my buddy (who's the star PF here) would pick me up. It was a snake draft, so of course he couldn't pick me up at #1, but he said he would have taken me at #10 or #11. Even that would of put me ahead of where i should have gone in my opinion, but i guess him saying that he was gonna take me kind of hyped or overhyped me for the draft in the other captains minds. So i got picked by the star SF of the school in the 2nd round. I'm gonna be starting SG for my team playing along beside the backup PG of the (university's) team and a couple guys who were on the team 3 years ago but have somewhat lost their touch.

I haven't played ball for about 2 months, along with quite a few from the school, due to the whole gym situation, and am absolutely stoked to play. I'm known to be one of the top 3point shooters of the school, but now i have a lot more pressure than usual since i got overhyped and picked much higher than i should have been picked in my opinion. Anyways, the games start on wednesday and i'm so damn excited to play basketball again!!!

"The Bah's" will be the best team in the league - but my team (Z-Bonairs) and the star PF's team (DA Massive) will be the two teams who can compete with them. The other two - "The Dynasty" and "Ballerz" have no chance in my opinion, unless they really step it up.

I don't really know why i typed this all out on the board, probably out of excitement, but yeh...just wanted to give you all the 3814 ballin update.
