Even though it a solid 4-1 win by Mavs in games I think Bucks had good games - even stealing 1 game in Dallas with 17 points. They also stayed close in the 2nd game in Dallas losing by only 2.

Mavs did good though closing out the series in Milwaukee by winning with 5, 7 and 8 points. But this series should show that it is hope for us eastern teams.

Congrats to VOR and his Mavs. (I guess I have some stakes in your winning the frist season by giving [IMG] you Fortson.

Congrats also to Ren D for winning the east.

    You b*stard!! [IMG]

actually I didnt change my roster at all during the playoffs, so I doubt it would have made a difference.

Heath, I gave you 2 of my starters, Nash and Howard for fortson, its not my fault you didnt know how to play them, and got bumped in the first round [IMG]

thanks for letting me beat you guys. I am entering a rebuilding year, so i dont expect to win my next championship till season 3. [IMG] I will concede to Vancouver Uta, portland or San antone.

sorry, but I got no respect for you east teams [IMG] especially heath2000 now that he traded gold for poop. dude you just gave Van, the best 3 man rotation is the sport. the only thing he could do better is to get Shaq too [IMG]

peace, and thanks for the season guys

    Gold for poop, huh???

    Please explain.

Heath didnt feel like he could win a championship with his current team, so he did the smart thing. Make trades.

Mike Bibby will be a top 3 PG in 2 yrs in the sim. Swift will be a stud PF.

I dont see how he got poop for gold.

    ------------------
The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

if he didnt get poop, than why did you trade with him??
cuz you got the better end of the deal.

as cat said, the sim dosnt maker players too much better or worse over time. however you gained the league leader is pts. one player getting you 30 per night. that is GOLD, bibby is good, and swift is a 6th man of a champion calibut team, so the picks were the best thing traded

anyhow... peace, and remember its just my opinion. you screwed him on that deal
    have a nice sunday

    I agree with VOR.

There's no way Bibby will be a top 3 PG.

Francis, Davis, and Miller are better than him IMO, and those are just the young guys.

Kidd and Payton will produce for a quite a few more seasons too.

Also Swift has so far been bad in the real NBA, and if Cat tries to keep his ratings with the way it is in real life, I dont see why he'd turn Swift into Garnett anytime soon.

That rookie pick swap actually works in the Nomar's favor b/c the odds are pretty high that the Sixers will not be as good as the Grizz unless Heath's record gets inflated from playing in the East which might happen.

The only good thing I see Heath really getting in this deal is that first pick for this draft, but that pick is getting less and less valuable with the new GM's.

I think the Grizz won in that trade easily, but I don't think it will push them over the top. It seems to me that depth and flexability are a lot more important in this league than having a few superstars.

Congrats on the trade Nomar, since it's complete there's no need to hype up Swift and Bibby anymore, hehe.

    Heath's in the east though, so I bet he's a 2 or 3 seed.

I think this league will be much more competitive after a season of everyone shaking up their rosters.

VOR can have his token championship, the real season starts now.

    Little bitter aren't you?

    Give it up, you lost.

Anyway we all know next seasons the Wolves with their big three are going to win it all.

Congratulations VOR, enjoy it while it lasts...

So what if my team got knocked out in the first round after leading the series 2-0, it's the preseason, where everyone's tied for first.

I also think VOR deserves an astrisk by his championship, just because Ren wasn't here to make any changes to his lineup for the finals.

Ok everyone just watch me. I will do better in season 2 of the sim.

Another thing is - evryone knew I was trading away Iverson - or did you just not believe I would be so stupid (The Iverson thread had over 50 posts) So if you all was afraid that Nomar would score big on this trade you all had the chance to make me a better one. I also understand that you see that Nomar will have a amazing top 3 now - and I really hope he does well - I really dont care - I only play him twice [IMG]

I can openly admit that I did not care what team Nomar had before and after the trade - I only judge a trade on what i see for my team - what do I give up - and what do I get. I actually hope Nomar will do good with this trade - and I think he will, but I know I will be better of in the long run. (This year I'm not going out in the first round of the playoffs.) I'm also not finished trading so I can make plenty more mistakes, so why aren't you guys biting on Mutombo. [IMG] Of course I could be finished trading if you guys want bite on my bait.

How can the rookie draft part of the trade be bad for me? It is a fact that I will pick atleast 7 places higher than I would if I had my old pick (2nd/9th) I know others can join but the differnce will not go down. In fact if anyobe take Pacers (most likely) the difference will be 8 places.

In fact all the draft trades are in my favor. The only one that rides on what Nomar does next year is the 2nd rounder I get from him then. But I do not give him mine so I do not know what you where thinking of? Next year i have both my own 2nd round pick and Nomars.

At one point, my pschotic ass offered you 3 starters from a 72-10 team for Iverson, an average pick, and Geiger. That deal would have been a near complete steal for you.

BTW I'm happy I didn't do that deal.
