SI is doing a bit where they have a rival scout analyze another team. I have read a few of them and in almost every analysis there is a lot I agree with and a lot I don't agree with, but this is expected.

Here is the one about the Rockets along with some bullet points that are said in the article.

    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nba/news/20131024/rockets-nba-season-preview/

    - One of the most overrated teams in the league
    - Will win a bunch of games during the regular season
    - Not built for the playoffs, most likely out in the first round
    - Does not think Howard cares enough to win a championship
    - Howard played his best year under Stan Van Gundy because he stays on you and McHale does not so he will have a tough time with Howard all year.
    - This team isn't as good as Mike D'Antoni's best teams in Phoenix, and those clubs never made it to the Finals
    - Harden is clearly the Rockets' No. 1 player
    - Knows they can't trade Howard but says they would be a better team if they could Trade Howard for for Lamarcus Aldridge and start Asik at Center

Man I sure hope we can trade Howard to get LMA. What a steal that would be!!! Somebody hold my things while I go get some napkin for my nosebleed.

This scout is entitled to his opinion but I disagree. If Howard is healthy the whole season, it will become obvious he is the MVP of the team because of his impact on both ends. Dwight knows he is under the gun and the only thing that matters is results, so motivation shouldn't be a problem.

He isn't the same guy that played for SVG.
