Ten years ago, Dallas had three young promising players. They were called three Js (Jason Kidd, Jim Jackson and Jamaal Mashburn). However later, the egos got into their head. They ended up splitting and sent the Dallas franchise into deep sh*t. The trigger was rumored that Kidd was going to have a date with a singer. He was busy for something and sent JJ as a messenger to tell the girl to wait. JJ was impressed by the girl. Instead of passing Kidd's message. He told the girl that Kidd wouldn't come and he volunteered to be the replacement. It always amaze me how JJ, a solid pro, big ten player of the year, former No.4 pick, end up being a journey man. There must be something behind, in the locker room. Anothing amazes me is that, these days, it appears JJ is the only Rockets player talking to the media. And he always comments on his teammates' effort level. I never followed him so close before. But I wonder how many friends you can gain from your team by keep talking to media like he does.
They all say its not true.... (yes, this is a very old article) http://afgen.com/toni.html "But Toni seems to have more than her fair share of vicious rumors that are swimming like piranha in the infested waters of entertainment media. She's been accused of breaking up the NBA's Dallas Mavericks by setting off a feud between two of its stars. "I never met Jason Kidd or Jimmy Jackson," she says, rolling her eyes at the mention of the well-worn controversy. "About a year ago, this reporter asked me if I had dated one or kissed the other, and me, trying to be cute, said, Well, I'll never kiss and tell. It's amazing how one year people are accusing me of being a lesbian, and the next year I'm a w**** who dated the entire NBA." Both Jackson, who now plays with the Nets, and Kidd, currently with Phoenix, have strenuously denied any involvement with Toni."
I vaguely remember that there was an awards show at the time when Braxton came on wearing a very revealing outfit. She was followed by Chris Rock(?), who said something like, "Now I see why the Mavericks are going to lose 50 games this year."
