Hey if you dont like (insert name here) then stop watching. All of this bellyaching is ridiculous. SF doesn't care? He freezes Ming out? Cat is garbage? If you really get that worked up about it that you post long, drawn out tirades then don't watch the damn games. Most fans would give their left nut to have the team we have. Look at how much talent the Clips have and they can't win for ****. Cleveland would give us the R&R HOF for this Rockets squad for Christ's sake. Many of you have the same problem as the rest of Houston sports fans, you are simply fair weather fans and when the team isn't killing all comers they suck. This used to be such a good place to find out about Rockets info, but the guys who knew either got tired of reading all this stuff or were offended by various posters. It is sad that in a world where everyday life has all kinds of negativity that many of you get online and turn something as pure as sport into a constant buzz of putdowns. Oh well, I guess all good things must come to an end............

So, are you satisfied with the Rockets play the last six games?

    Right,

Just like when you UTBALLER, said you hated picking Yao number one, and you constantly railed on him before you even saw him play.

Maybe, just maybe, you should think before you criticize others.

I agree with you. I still support the team! Don't fire Rudy! But trade Cuttino Mobley...I never said anything like "SF doesn't care? He freezes Ming out? Cat is garbage?" Patience! What do you expect? The Dallas Mavericks are the best team in the NBA. We have lost a lot of easy games, but anything can happen in the NBA. It's not all based on stats. It's just a game! :) Even though Cleveland is the worst team in the NBA, it doesn't mean they haven't won. They have beat teams that are SUPPOSED to be better than them. But they beat them. If we won all of our games, all the other teams would be losing. It's just a game! Steve Francis doesn't care? Of course he cares. What do you expect? Move to another city! Support the Mavericks then...

    Calvin Murphy for President!

If people didn't care about the rockets they wouldn't bother voicing their concerns on the bbs. Stupid post  how about YOU do us all a favor and let people voice their opinion instead of trying to censor people who have resonable concerns about where this team is going

    UT Baller,

I agreed with most of the stuff you said, except about this fair weather fan. Most of the fans I know that live in Houston will cut your throat if you say something about there beloved Rockets, Astros, or even the Texans. Most of the people that hate on the Rockets on this forum most likely don't live in Champ City let alone Texas.

UT- I agree with you. I for one, definitely check this board less frequently than I used to, and not b/c the team is losing. I really can't stand the negitivity comsuming the board anymore, and think that many of the negative sentiments are affecting the players themselves.

I know its frustrating at times to watch them, esp last night, but I do get so excited when they start to show their potential. Just think, a Dynasty is right around the corner.

    I love this damn team!

UTballer has a point in that this used to be a great place to pick up Rox info, and is not anymore. I used to come here everyday, and now only usually come once a week or so, because you see the same things over and over, about trading Mobely, Francis sux, or fire Rudy T. BTW I don't live in Houston or Texas anymore, but still might cut a throat for talking about my Rox

If crap on this board is inversely related to how this team is 'actually' doing, I'll take it.

    Unfortunately it's directly, exponentially related.

I admit than I retreat from this tough forum to the Hangout to discuss things like...uh....terrorism and War and...

That's right. Houston fans don't care about the Houston Texans losing all their games! They just go to watch games to have fun! Astros...their attendance is declining, but they have a good team now and hopefully can succeed this year. People are even watching the Houston Aeros! BUT...not many support the Houston Rockets. I guess they are too ugly to watch. Hopefully the new arena will draw more fans. The Rockets are winning, but still, not many people are watching. Most people only talk about the Rockets when they're winning. On this board...when they are losing. But not many people care about the Rockets... :(

You know Rockets has not performed to their potential yet, not even close. We are suggesting some ways to improve, what's wrong with that? Some people suggest it in a calm manner, some others do not. But both have the same valid reasons for Rockets problems.
