Woke up yesterday with a terrible pain on my backside. I went to the bathroom thinking it's some sort of gas buildup. That didn't help. The pulsating pain was moving back and forth my back to abdomen. Since the pain did not subside for an hour and a half, I checked myself in ER. ER was friggin full. Honestly, none of the people in there looked that sick. They had families in there that were having a great time. Once the nurse looked at my condition and got a hint that I might have a kidney stone, they rushed me to a bed. I was administered plenty of morphine and a cat scan. Cat Scan confirmed a kidney stone of about 2mm in size. After couple of hours, the pain subsided. Doctor prescribed me pain medicine and Flomax (love the name) to help pass the stone and I was sent home. As soon as I got in the car, I started to feel dizzy. Vomited twice n the car and about a total of 6 times since getting home. Terrible terrible nausea. I dont have pain anymore and nausea seems to be in control but I havent seen the stone yet. I am guessing its somewhere in my bladder. So now I am supposed to just wait till the stone decides to pass through my peepee. Peepee gonna hurt?! Is my peepee gonna hurt when I piss the stone away?!?! (I think it will!) KIDNEY STONES ARE EVIL. STAY AWAY FROM PRODUCTS WITH CAFFEINE IN IT AND DRINK PLENTY OF WATER.
Season three episode 6 of Kidney Stone was awesome -- Showtime really has some great programming right now.

Gosh my wee wee burns with every sip of this diet DP I take. I drink about 5 a day. Maybe more. My time will come.
I was going to say... I was given a shot of Benadryl once for a bad allergic reaction and they kept me in Urgent Care for over an hour before they would let me go home... re: your stone it's going to get worse before it gets better
I've had female patients tell me passing a kidney stone hurts more than giving birth..... (good luck)
What's interesting is that when I asked the ER doctor about the pain, I was told that I have already been though the worst (passing of the stone from the kidney to the bladder). Passing of the stone from my bladder through the peepee wouldn't be as bad. Then it hit me when I got home. The doctor was a she. How would she know?!
Well, luckily ur external orifice is 5mm, while ur stone is 2...unless it comes out sideways, then your screwed. And I don't know about this but...pics or it didn't happen?
