Just wondering if any of you guys are following the show. The season premiere was tonight and SoReal Cru from Houston did really well! I'm friends with a couple of the members so I'm trying to get the hype and voting up for them! Who else did you guys like? I think Super Crew, Boogie Bots and ASIID were up there too... The next few weeks will be very interesting!
By the way, if you're not familiar with the show, new episodes air Thursdays on MTV at 10/9 central. I recommend tuning in. It's pretty entertaining compared to some of the other trash that's on TV these days.
someone on my myspace thingie told me to watch them or vote for them because she knew folks on that squad. i don't really watch that show... or mtv.
MTV blows as a whole but America's Best Dance Crew is one of the best shows on TV, period. So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing with the Stars pales to this.

That's funny cause my brother-in-law is friends with a few of the members too. We watched them during the live auditions and they were the best hands down...they brought an energy that none of the other crews did.
SoReal Cru is incredible. Representin' Houston well. Also, the other Houston group, Distorted X, was eliminated tonight. Sucks because they were not only great but they were beautiful. Those girls. Wow. Wow.
I love the energy and the choreographed set dances on this show. Great footwork and balance is something I enjoy watching, like stunts..
i feel ya. SoReal Cru is killen it. i respect all the hard work from the other crews but they aint on the level of SoReal and Supreme Soul

I haven't seen any of the episodes from this season so I hope the video you posted from SoReal is a bad one for them because if that is typical they suck compared to Jabbawokeez. I kept waiting for that Salah guy to do something in that video.
I don't know anybody i the cru, just have connections to them. 2 of them works at the Apple store in First Colony, 2 of the guy's father my dad does taxes for, and another is a brother of the finance of my sister's ex-finance. us Filipinos are connected some how...
Well to anyone that cares... during GoodPhil this year, UH sucked at the modern dance competition because most of their good dancers are in SoReal and during that time SoReal was in LA for another competion, where they placed first. So hopefully, they will be able to repeat that success in ABDC.
That guy tried out for "So you think you can dance" and made it to Las Vegas.. He was amazing, that video doesn't do him justice IMO.. ultimately he wasn't well rounded enough to handle the other dances and quit, but in his category he was the best by a mile..
3 crews from Houston did the live auditions for Season 2 - two of them made it to the first episode... Distorted X, SoReal, and History(I think?). I have a sneaking suspicion that Distorted X is out of Jersey Village... Either that or they're big Lakers fans... Jabbawockeez FTW! oh wait, that was season 1....
I think Distorted X are from Sugarland. One of the girls stated that her brother fights in Elite XC. She said this in the earlier rounds they showed on tv about two weeks ago. Her brother went to Clements HS with me.
That could be true. Those were just my two most logical explanation for wearing purple and yellow like that on the live audition show...
